The construction of the new Keith Valley Middle School project remains on time and on budget.

Construction crews are making steady progress on the huge endeavor and representatives from CHA Consulting provided an update at the School Board of Directors meeting on Feb. 10.

“Quite a bit has happened since our last update,” said Bill Hambly, project engineer for CHA Consulting.

Hambly told the school board that the administrative building has 99% of exteriors finished. Remaining items to be completed include metal panel installation, curtain walls, glass installation, caulking and concrete sidewalk installation.

Hambly said that building costs have changed minimally since the project started, and “only 1% in change orders to date.”

The building’s earliest completion date is set for July 28, 2026. The latest date the project can be completed is Sept. 30, 2026.
