Emergency crews responded to a vehicle rescue Friday morning after a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near the Willow Grove exit, according to reports.
According to witnesses at the scene, a vehicle was found overturned on its side, with smoke visible coming from the vehicle. The incident occurred at approximately 9:16 a.m. near Heaton Road access gate
Initial reports indicated that the driver was unable to exit the vehicle on their own, prompting a rescue response from emergency personnel. First responders worked quickly to secure the scene and assist the occupant.
There was no immediate word on the extent of injuries or what caused the crash. Traffic in the area experienced delays while crews handled the incident.
