The Hatboro Police Department has announced the arrest a man in connection with a shooting incident that sent a bullet through a resident’s home earlier this year.
Fideri News Network first reported the incident, which occurred on Aug. 19, 2025, when a resident reported that a bullet had been fired into their residence. Officers conducted an investigation, and as a result, they identified Colin Eckstrom as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
On Dec. 16, 2025, Eckstrom was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. He was arraigned later that day by Magisterial District Judge Juanita Price. Bail was set at $77.
Eckstrom is charged with discharge of a firearm into an occupied dwelling, along with additional related offenses.
