Residents will have an opportunity to hear updates and ask questions about environmental cleanup efforts at the former Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Willow Grove during a public Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) meeting in January.

The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Base Realignment and Closure Program Management Office, along with the Air National Guard, will host a hybrid in-person and virtual meeting on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Community members are invited to attend in person at the Horsham Township Community Center, 1025 Horsham Road, or participate online through Microsoft Teams, where presentations will be streamed live.

The RAB brings together residents, military representatives, and federal and state regulators to discuss environmental restoration activities at the former Willow Grove base and the neighboring Biddle Air National Guard Base. Officials said the hybrid format was developed in consultation with state and federal regulators to allow for broader public participation.

The meeting agenda will include updates on ongoing cleanup work, upcoming investigations, and opportunities for public comment. Links to join the virtual meeting and view the agenda will be made available ahead of time.

The former Willow Grove base remains a major site of interest for surrounding communities, including Upper Dublin, Horsham, and Warminster, as environmental remediation and future land use planning continue.
