A fatal single-vehicle accident involving a food service truck occurred Monday afternoon on the 1000 block of Limekiln Pike near the intersection of Limekiln Pike and McKean Road, according to reports.
The crash was reported at approximately 1:52 p.m. According to witnesses at the scene, an Incollingo Food Service truck slipped onto its side. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, according to officials.
As a result of the crash, Limekiln Pike was shut down between Horsham Road and Tennis Avenue. Authorities are advising motorists to avoid the area while crews remain on scene.
Emergency crews from Horsham Fire Company, Horsham Police, and Warrington Fire Company responded to the incident.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and no additional information has been released.
