Last week’s Horsham Township Council meeting was a meaningful and celebratory occasion as residents, colleagues, and elected officials came together to recognize an extraordinary career of public service.
After nearly 44 years of dedicated service, the Township formally honored Sue Zepp, longtime Director of the Finance Department, as she prepares for retirement. Throughout her decades-long career, Sue has been a steady and trusted leader, overseeing the Township’s finances with exceptional professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
Council members praised Zepp for her unwavering commitment to Horsham Township, noting that her knowledge, leadership, and institutional memory have played a critical role in guiding the Township through years of growth, change, and fiscal responsibility. Her work behind the scenes ensured sound financial practices and helped maintain the high level of services residents rely on every day.
The evening was filled with gratitude and well-wishes as the community celebrated Sue’s remarkable contributions and lasting impact on Horsham Township. While her presence at the Township will be deeply missed, council and staff expressed their sincere appreciation and wished her the very best in her well-earned retirement.
"We are deeply grateful for her extraordinary contributions," Horsham Township wrote in a post. "Congratulations Sue, you will be missed!"
