The Freezer 5K Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk is set to return to Horsham Township, offering residents a festive way to stay active while supporting local families and parks.
The festivities will start on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., starting at the Horsham Township Library located at 435 Babylon Road.
The race follows the scenic powerline trail, with the certified 5K course starting and finishing at Simmons Elementary School on Babylon Road. The event is open to all experience levels, welcoming seasoned runners, casual walkers and families with strollers.
Proceeds from the event will help “fill the freezer” for Horsham families in need this holiday season and also benefit the Horsham Parks and Recreation Department. Participants are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation to the event. Those who donate will receive a surprise coupon from a local Horsham business.
