Have you ever wanted to see Mike Wazowski throw a touchdown for the Philadelphia Eagles?
Well, Monday is your lucky day!
You may remember highlights from 2023's Toy Story Funday Football broadcast, and 2024's The Simpsons Funday Football broadcast, namely Homer Simpson throwing a touchdown to CeeDee Lamb:

The Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars faced off in Andy's room, the Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals played in Springfield, and now the Eagles and Los Angeles Chargers will head to Monstropolis and play inside the iconic Monsters, Inc. building.
Funday Football is an annual collaboration between ESPN, Disney, Pixar, Beyond Sports and the NFL to air a real-time, animated Monday Night Football game.
Basically, every Eagles and Chargers player will appear as motion-enabled, animated versions of themselves. The gameplay from SoFi Stadium will be animated in real time and recreated in a virtual setting; in this case, it's the Cheer Floor, a reimagination of "Monsters, Inc.'s" Scare Floor. The Cheer Floor features a full-length football field and is lined with thousands of cheering monsters.

Mike Wazowski will join the Eagles for the game, and James P. "Sulley" Sullivan will play for the Chargers, each subbing in for key moments. Mike and the Eagles will compete against Sulley and the Chargers for Cheer Canisters (instead of the film's Scream Canisters). Whoever wins the game and gets the most cheers will become Cheer Champion.
Additional Monsters, Inc. characters will also appear throughout the broadcast. Roz will star as the game's sideline reporter, and the Child Detection Agency (CDA) will help with cleaning up flags. John Goodman, Billy Crystal and Bob Peterson will reprise their famous roles as Sulley, Mike and Roz, respectively, through pre-recorded lines; they'll also interact with Eagles and Chargers players in pre-recorded segments.
The traditional MNF broadcast will still air at 8 p.m. on ESPN, ABC, ESPN Deportes and the ESPN App, and Monsters Funday Football will air concurrently on ESPN2, Disney Channel, Disney XD and the ESPN App. It will also be available on Disney+ shortly after the live broadcast concludes.
So if you love Monsters, Inc. and you're looking for a fun alternative to Troy Aikman and Joe Buck, check out Drew Carter and Dan Orlovsky as animated monster commentators on the alternate broadcast.
