A Landsdale man is facing felony charges following his apprehension by the Hatboro Police Department during a traffic stop, according to police.
Ryan Taylor Jones, 34, of the 100 block of Snyder Avenue in Landsdale, is being accused of receiving stolen property after being pulled over in a stolen vehicle, according to police.
Officers from Hatboro Police Department were on patrol in the area of N. York Road and E. County Line Road, after receiving an alert of a stolen vehicle traveling south at York Road and Almshouse Road at approximately 12:30 p.m.
The vehicle in question was a white Ford van with a blue Artic Cooling Inc. logo, bearing a New Jersey registration. At 12:37 p.m., officers located the vehicle traveling along N. York Road and E. County Line Road.
A traffic stop was initiated at 345 N. York Road. The operator, identified as Jones, exited his vehicle, complied with officer’s commands, and was placed in handcuffs. Jones was found to be the lone occupant in the vehicle, according to police.
Around 1:50 p.m., Jones was transported to the Hatboro Police Station and was processed.
Jones posted bail, which was set at $2,500.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 9, 2025, before Judge Todd Stephens.
