Upper Dublin Township is inviting residents to come together for a sweet summer celebration in honor of National S’mores Day on Thursday, Aug. 14.

Hosted by the Upper Dublin Parks & Recreation Department, this event is part of the Township’s popular “Celebrate Summer” series, a lineup of family-friendly programs designed to enhance community engagement and summertime fun.

The festivities will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Robbins Park Nature Center Pavilion, located at 1419 E Butler Pike, in Ambler.

The cost is $6 for registered person, and $10 for anyone who is not registered.

You can register for the event here.

The evening will kick off with an entertaining and educational performance by Ridiculous Nicholas, known for his high-energy science shows that captivate audiences of all ages.

Following the show, families, friends, and neighbors are invited to stick around for the main event: a classic s’mores-making experience. Fire pits will be available for roasting marshmallows, and all supplies will be provided, giving everyone the chance to create their perfect s’more and enjoy the nostalgic taste of summer.

This event offers a relaxed atmosphere, and guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to settle in and make the most of the evening outdoors. No registration is necessary, and the event is free and open to all ages.

The National S’mores Day celebration is one of several free events featured in the Celebrate Summer series, which includes concerts, kids’ shows, movie nights, and more throughout the summer.
