The community was understandably disappointed when Horsham Day was canceled and the fireworks had to be postponed due to inclement weather last month. It’s always a highly anticipated tradition, and missing out on it left many feeling let down.
But now, the event is finally here.
On Tuesday, August 5, Horsham Township will host an unforgettable evening filled with entertainment that the whole family can enjoy.
The night will begin with National Night Out at the Horsham Municipal Complex, an annual event that promotes community building, safety awareness, and positive relationships between residents and local law enforcement. Attendees can look forward to fun activities, interactive displays, and opportunities to meet first responders, all in a welcoming and family-friendly environment.
Once the sun sets, the celebration continues just a short distance away with the long-awaited return of the Horsham Fireworks Show at Deep Meadow Park. Known for lighting up the night sky in spectacular fashion, this fireworks display is sure to delight attendees of all ages.
It’s shaping up to be one incredible night as the weather is supposed to hold up. Families, friends, and neighbors are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, pack a picnic, and make an evening of it. With good food, great company, and an amazing show in store, Horsham will be the place to be on Aug. 5.
Parking
As the community gears up for National Night Out and the Horsham Fireworks Show, attendees planning to park at the Babylon Business Campus are encouraged to review the updated parking map for important restrictions.
Because the event takes place on a weekday evening, several businesses within the campus will remain open. To ensure that these businesses can continue serving their customers and staff without disruption, parking in the red-marked areas on the map is strictly prohibited. These restricted zones will be clearly indicated on the night of the event with cones and barricades.
To support a smooth experience for all, free public event parking will be available in the designated orange-highlighted section of the campus. Early arrival is recommended, and visitors are asked to follow all posted signage and directions from event staff.
Heffernan & Partners will allow the use of their property for event parking.
