The Hatboro-Horsham School District will come together this weekend for a great cause.

The MINI‑THON Main Event at Hatboro-Horsham High School, set for this Saturday, April 26, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., will be vibrant, fun celebration of community, compassion, and commitment to the fight against childhood cancer.

This student-led fundraiser brings together the entire Hatboro-Horsham School District and surrounding community in support of THON and the Four Diamonds organization.

MINI‑THON is modeled after Penn State’s renowned THON, the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, which raises funds and awareness for children battling cancer and their families. Hatboro-Horsham students have embraced this mission, organizing an event packed with fun activities and meaningful purpose, all in the spirit of giving back.

Guests can expect an exciting, family-friendly atmosphere filled with free food, interactive games, and craft stations that engage people of all ages. The energy will be electric as students, faculty, families, and local residents gather for a cause that touches so many lives.

From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., there will be Special Community Hours to ensure everyone has a chance to experience the event at its peak.

At its heart, MINI‑THON is more than just a fundraiser—it gives students a chance to lead, serve, and inspire, all while making a real-world impact. Every dollar raised goes toward supporting children undergoing cancer treatment, funding research, and ensuring no family ever has to face a cancer diagnosis alone.

Whether you're a student, parent, teacher, or neighbor, this event offers an opportunity to come together, have fun, and be part of something bigger.
