The Phillies will wear their Phanatic batting practice caps during Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins as the mascot's birthday is celebrated at Citizens Bank Park, On Pattison has learned.
It will be the second year in a row that the Phillies have done this, as they surprised fans by donning the Phanatic caps with their cream uniforms on his birthday last April 21 in an 8-2 win over the Chicago White Sox:

The Phillies introduced their cream alternate uniforms in 2008, and they are currently worn for all days games at Citizens Bank Park, expect on Thursdays. The creams are inspired by the primary home uniforms that the Phillies wore from 1946-1949:
