Naera Latimore-Coates, 23, of 3800 block of Blair Mill Road, Hatboro, faces a felony charge of retail theft, according to police.

On April 8, The Horsham Township Police Department was dispatched to the ACME Market located at 200 Blair Mill Road for a report of retail theft with the person already in custody.

An ACME security guard met with the responding police officer, who stated that an employee, identified as Latimore-Coates, was stealing merchandise from the store.

The security guard told police that Latimore-Coates would store items in the deli section of the supermarket where she was assigned to work. He then told police that she would place the items in a bag and leave the store without paying for them.

The total of the merchandise stolen was valued at $86.65.

ACME Security confronted Latimore-Coates outside of the store and instructed her to come back inside. She then signed a written statement admitting to taking the items that day, as well as several times in the past.
