Hatboro Police traffic stop leads to arrest of man accused of felony at Wegman's

A traffic stop conducted by the Hatboro Police Department has led to the arrest of Kevin Brizzi, 31, who is accused of stealing $60.95 worth of merchandise from a Wegman’s Market in Warrington Township on Sunday, March 30. 

According to police, a male, later identified as Brizzi, passed all points of sale and left the store in a yellow Camaro.

The vehicle was stopped by Hatboro police, who identified Brizzi and then turned the investigation over to Warrington police. Brizzi was placed into custody and transported back to Warrington Police Headquarters. 

During a search incident to arrest, suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were recovered, police said.

Brizzi is facing a felony charge of retail theft.
