The Montgomery County Board of Elections has announced the candidates running for municipal offices in the Borough of Hatboro and Horsham Township for the May 20 primary election.
Hatboro Mayor Tim Schultz is seeking re-election, along with several incumbent council members. Councilman Don Hoover has switched parties, going from being a Republican to a Democrat.
In Horsham Township, Councilman Sean Wade won't seek re-election; he is being replaced on the Republican ticket by Erin Whalen, who is opting to run for council.
There are no contested primary races for any terms in Hatboro and Horsham.
