Emergency dispatch reports that there is a vehicle accident requiring rescue in Horsham Township Monday evening.
Both ambulances and fire departments were requested by dispatch for an incident along Horsham Road in Horsham Township at 4:41 p.m. Monday, where a vehicle has reportedly been flipped onto its roof. Witnesses said that only one car is visible at the scene, and are unsure if any others were involved.
Those at the scene have reported that the airbags of the vehicle have deployed, and that rescue assistance may be needed to get the driver out of the flipped car.
The Horsham Fire Company No. 1 and the Upper Moreland Township Fire Company have both responded to the scene, among other rescue units assisting.
Traffic on Horsham Road in the area of Avenue B is slowed at this time as both rescue units and an investigation teams work the scene. Drivers should avoid the area as possible.
