The company was recognized as the best on the planet for its focus on people.
It’s nice to be recognized any time for being a great place to work, but when that honor is bestowed on your company on a worldwide stage, it’s an even bigger deal.
Forbes recent released its World’s Best Employers for 2024, and among them was one local Horsham stand-out. Grupo Bimbo was among those named, ranking in at 744 in the world.
With more than 300,000 employees surveyed over 50 countries (of multinational companies with 1,000 employees or more, with at least two continental regions in the world), Grupo Bimbo was pleased to come out on top.
“Our company has a unique competitive advantage, which is our human philosophy,” said Juan Muldoon, chief people officer at Grupo Bimbo. “At Grupo Bimbo, we see the person as an end, not as a means. We want our 152,000 associates to find the tools and opportunities to reach their full potential in each of our different workplaces.”
Muldoon credited the company’s caring environment for its high ranking in a global market.
“By always putting people first, we are working to build a sustainable, highly productive, and deeply humane company,” said Muldoon.
