A 42-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested Wednesday morning and is set to be arraigned on charges of burglary and related offenses after he was allegedly caught burglarizing the same occupied home twice.
Upper Dublin Township Police announced Wednesday that police were dispatched at 3:28 a.m. Wednesday to the 200 block of Washington Lane in the Fort Washington section of the township for a report of a man who had entered an occupied home, police said.
The suspect was confronted by the homeowner and was unknown to the residents, police said. The suspect fled the home prior to police arrival.
A check of the area was unsuccessful in locating the subject, despite assistance of surrounding police departments and a K-9.
At 6:09 a.m., police were dispatched again to the same residence, after the same suspect entered the home again, police said.

With assistance from surrounding police departments and a drone, police established a perimeter and searched for the burglar, police said.
The man was found at Bethlehem Pike and Washington Lane at 7:26 a.m. and taken into custody, authorities said.
No one was injured and no property was damaged, police said.
