The St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church sent a big “thank you” to all that worked so hard on its “Trucktoberfest” event on Sept. 27. Despite the dreary weather, loads of family fun was had by all in this fourth annual tradition.
From lawn games to food trucks, the day’s fundraiser provided plenty of fun with a Beer and Wine Garden for adults, and tasty foods for all ages. With DJ Paul Wilburn and Cut-A-Rug DJ, along with Dance Enterprises Inc., music bounced throughout the event. Artifact Brewery and Bound Beverages provided liquid libations, while assistance from the Boy Scout packs 39 and 17, along with the Knights of Columbus, the Horsham Township Police and Fire companies, the CYO Volleyball Team and families, as well as the Religious Education Office made the event possible.
The Trucktoberfest Committee additionally thanked Taffy Fun, the balloon artist, and Philly Soft Pretzel of Horsham for providing additional entertainment and food! Extra thanks from the committee also were sent out to:
for their hard work.
Committee members, including Dean, Linde, Jack, Janet, and Donna, all were grateful for such a great event.
“We would like to thank all of our parishioners and their friends and families who came out, despite the forecast, to support the Trucktoberfest,” said a post on the church’s website. “We are so grateful and thankful for your support.”
