With just four weeks until the big presidential election, it is time to cast your ballot. No, not with an official paper ballot, but with a cookie!

Since 2008, Lochel's Bakery in Hatboro has always had a busy fall season. The shop's tradition of baking of election-based cookies keeps customers coming in for far more than the delicious sweet treats.

According to an Associated Press article as seen in The Reporter, the cookie poll has been accurate three of the last four elections. While the owners say there is nothing scientific about it, the bakery and local customers enjoy the fun way to track results, without any political mudslinging.

For more on the fun tradition, read the full report here. To check out the four-inch tasty "ballots" in person, visit Lochel's Bakery, located at 57 S. York Road, Hatboro. For more on the offerings, visit https://www.lochelsbakery.com/
