A cross-country all-star zips from class to class, right in the halls of Hatboro-Horsham High School, and chances are you’ve heard her name before.
Hatboro-Horsham’s senior runner, Lillian DiCola, took home the state championship in the sport this fall. She was the top spot for the PIAA AAA state championship meet for 2024 on Saturday, Nov. 2.
“I was super excited,” said DiCola about her recent title. “It’s been my goal since freshman year. The Hatter had been working toward this benchmark since her start in cross country in the third grade.

“Just to accomplish it was so fulfilling” said DiCola, who represented the Hatters well before the entire state. She thanked her coaches and teammates for helping her to reach for the stars.
