They say there is nothing in this life for free, but The Loft Whiskey Bar in Horsham begs to differ. The local business has scheduled a free whiskey tasting on Nov. 29.
Slated for Friday, Nov. 29, the Iron Abbey Restaurant and Pub’s The Loft Whiskey Bar is inviting all those age 21 and over to sample the “Devil’s River,” a rye whiskey, which is created in small batches in Texas. Rated at 90 proof, or 45 percent alcohol by volume.
The complimentary tasting will feature the “bold flavors” of the company’s rye, agave bourbon, and bourbon products. Additionally, guests will be able to “discover the story behind this legendary brand,” said The Loft’s announcement.
After the tasting, Devil’s River cocktails will be offered at a special price for the remainder of the evening. Those interested can make a reservation for a table online here.
The Loft Whiskey Bar and Bottle Shop is open for various hours. The bar portion is available from Monday through Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m., while the bottle shop is open on Monday and Tuesdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with Sunday hours 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
