A two-vehicle accident in Upper Moreland Township has traffic in the area slowed as rescuers work to release a trapped woman.
According to the county’s dispatch, a call went out to first responders at 6:28 p.m. on Friday evening to the area of Easton Road and Fitzwatertown Road in Upper Moreland. The caller, who was a person involved in the incident, said she was trapped under a truck.
Vehicles are currently blocking the intersection, and travelers are asked to avoid the area as crews work to clear the scene. Responding to the area are two units from different Second Alarmers Rescue Squad locations, the Upper Moreland Township Fire Company, and other first responders.
The intersection of Easton and Fitzwatertown roads is closed at this time in all directions. More information will be posted as it is made available.
