If you’re a little bit late getting your wish list to the big man himself, and you live in Horsham Township, you’re in luck. He’s coming to you!
While Santa Claus is typically quite busy this time of the year, the Horsham Fire Company was able to finagle a visit to the township on Saturday, Dec. 21. Just in time for the annual visit, those of all ages are welcome to submit their last-minute requests directly to St. Nick.
Santa will be making five stopes in total, thanks to the transportation and assistance of the Fire Company. The schedule includes the following stops in Horsham Township Parks:
As the members of the Horsham Fire Company also continue to protect our community as they take time out for Father Christmas, service calls will remain a priority. In the event of any callouts, the schedule may be delayed or adjusted to accommodate community needs.
“Be patient and listen for the sirens as he approaches the parks,” said the township’s event page. “Please bring your camera and take plenty of photos.”
As Deep Meadow Park is under construction at this time, earlier schedules that noted the 12:30 p.m. stop being there are incorrect. The new location is the aforementioned Carpenter Park instead.
If you have any questions or concerns about the Santa Claus visit, please call the township at 215-643-3131 or email [email protected]. The Horsham Fire Company is located at 315 Meetinghouse Road, in Horsham. Santa will depart from the company Saturday morning, with children’s first chance of a meet-up being held at 10 a.m. at Chestnut Creek Park.
