A man wanted for a Hatboro robbery was picked up this weekend by Abington Township Police, in conjunction with Hatboro’s force, and placed under arrest.
Jeffrey Joseph Grace, 52, of the 200 block of Wooded Drive in Doylestown, was arrested in Abington Township, according to a post to the department’s Facebook page created on Saturday.
As previously reported on Horsham Now Friday, the department issued a warrant for his arrest after a robbery on Horsham Road on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Posting to the Hatboro Police Department’s Crime Watch page, the police asked for anyone with information to come forward on Thursday, Dec. 12.
Grace is charged with felony counts of Robbery with a threat of immediate serious injury, Robbery by taking of property by force, as well as misdemeanor counts of simple assault, terroristic threats, theft by unlawful taking of movable property, and a summary offense of harassment.
Grace is held in county jail unable to post a monetary bail of $25,000 (10 percent), following a preliminary arraignment on Dec. 13. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Dec. 26 at 10 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Todd Stephens.
