As the country starts to look to our skies and wonder what exactly these alleged “drones” are doing, suddenly so numerously, another unidentified bright light was recently captured on video.
Our Multimedia Editor James Short was actually out capturing lights of another kind (our Christmas light display featured homes) when his dash camera suddenly picked up an unexpected flash in the sky. He was traveling along Camp Hill Road, in Fort Washington. At the precise timing, he was between Office Center Drive and Dreshertown Road, within Upper Dublin Township.
The unedited video of his camera is posted here. As we turn to area experts to identify this strange flash, we want your opinion, too. What do you think this is?
In the mere six-second clip, you can see some type of object fly from the upper left to lower right side of the screen, in a quick diagonal dash. The object seems to light up then explode or separate, creating two bright objects for a brief moment, and then goes dark again.
What in the world (or in other worlds) could this be? A meteorite? A shooting star? A UFO? Another drone? What do you think this is? We want to know your opinion. Tell us in the Facebook post comments.
