Horsham-based Aegis Software is showing leadership by supporting a global study on how to ensure AI and analytics deliver benefits to manufacturers. The operations-focused research survey is open for response during December of 2024. Developed by the Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association International (MESA) and Tech-Clarity, this survey focuses on how manufacturers use traditional analytics and metrics as well as predictive artificial intelligence (AI) including machine learning (ML) and generative AI (GenAI).

“Today’s manufacturing environments generate massive amounts of data, but the key to driving value lies in ensuring that data is accurate, contextualized, and actionable,” said Aegis’ Deb Geiger, VP of Global Marketing. Without getting the data right, even the most sophisticated analytics or AI initiatives will fall short. This research provides an industry-wide perspective on how companies are addressing these foundational challenges while exploring the role of AI in unlocking new levels of efficiency and insight. The findings will help inform our strategies and FactoryLogix® roadmap to continue to deliver value with our adaptive unified MES offering, as we have for many years.”

Tech-Clarity’s program leader and VP of Research for Operations and Manufacturing Julie Fraser agreed.

“Our ability to conduct meaningful research relies on many other companies’ support. Having sponsors like long-time MES leader Aegis Software helping to guide the program is one aspect,” said Fraser. “We also rely on manufacturing company employees responding and sharing their experiences. We are asking manufacturing industry personnel to participate in the survey that just opened on analytics and AI for manufacturing.”

The new survey can be found at https://www.research.net/r/AMMAAMPR, and those who respond will get a copy of the report, Fraser said.

Note that during this December survey-open period, MESA is also offering special membership pricing. Manufacturer/producer individual memberships are $99, and solution provider individual memberships are $150. Company memberships are also available and offer additional benefits. Memberships are not required to participate in the survey.
